You need a valid pilot license (SPL, PPL, or equivalent). For paramotor you need a paramotor license, for paraglider a paraglider license. Guest pilots from other countries are welcome with valid licenses.

Yes, valid air sports liability insurance is mandatory. It must cover paramotor/paraglider. Without proof of insurance, participation in flight operations is not possible.

Yes, there are fixed flight times and briefings. Flight operations are usually from 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00. Evening restrictions may apply. A daily briefing at 09:30 is mandatory.

In bad weather, flight operations are suspended. The event still takes place with testival, talks, social activities and catering. In case of total cancellation, partial refunds apply.

Yes, the campsite directly at the airfield is included with the camping ticket. Campsites have access to sanitary facilities, showers and power connections. Motorhomes are welcome.

Yes, in Oberhof (15 min) and Georgenthal (20 min) there are hotels and guesthouses. We have a list of partner accommodations offering discounts for participants. Early booking recommended.

Absolutely! We have special pitches for motorhomes with power. The pitches are large enough for big vehicles. Please indicate this during registration.

All major manufacturers are represented: APCO, Ozone, Vittorazi, Air Conception, Dudek, HSCOM and many more. You can test wings, engines and equipment and get advice directly from manufacturers.

Yes, but with restrictions. You need at least 20 documented flight hours and a valid license. An instructor will accompany your first test flight. Safety is top priority.

Pets are allowed on the camping site but not in the flight area for safety reasons. They must be on a leash and owners are responsible for cleanliness.
